Kattie Jones, CPM, RM, CLC

Born and raised in Mexico, to a large family most of whom had home-births. Kattie is fluent in Spanish and English! She was born into the hands of a midwife, and that very same midwife caught Kattie’s first daughter, Kaylise, 19 years later. She has been working all along the Sierra Madre Mountains, hence the name of her practice, since 2009.

Kattie earned her NARM CPM credential in March 2013. She has been a Registered Midwife here in Colorado since 2015. Kattie is also a licensed midwife in Mexico. She is a Certified Lactation Counselor and is also certified through the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). She is a member of Midwives Alliance of North America (MANA). 

She brings in many years of expertise to integrate your dreams and desires for an ideal birth with safe-evidence based care. She works with moms for a whole year, getting to know them and their families. Working with a diverse group of families from all walks of life is the greatest privilege of her life.

Kaylise Jones

Born in Mexico to the same midwife that delivered her own mother, Kaylise is the second in a family of 5. Being around home births her whole life she was so excited when the opportunity came up to work with her mom. 

She obtained her bachelors in Integrative Healthcare and Nutrition from MSU Denver, and is also a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. Kaylise is certified through Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and is a Certified Doula through DONA International.

Kaylise has been working as a doula and assistant for a couple of years now. She has worked closely with clients helping them feel supported physically and emotionally while they bring their babies earthside. She also brings in her knowledge about nutrition into her work so moms feel healthy all throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey.
